iMotorbike to partner STDC for technical training in motorcycles

iMotorbike, Southeast Asia’s leading motorcycle platform for buying and selling pre-owned motorcycles, has forged a partnership with the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC) to empower the technical education and youth development of Selangor.

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the initiative would enabled the youth to become leaders in their respective fields

“As the Menteri Besar, I am proud to witness such initiatives that not only contribute to our state’s economic growth but also empower our youths to become leaders in their respective fields,” he said after witnessing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between the two parties today.

The partnership allows STDC students and graduates 16 years old and above to pursue specialised motorbike technician certifications, paving the way for rewarding careers in the industry.

The collaboration was announced during the grand unveiling of iMotorbike’s expansive new showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

CEO and Founder of iMotorbike Gil Carmo said iMotorbike believes that everyone deserves a chance to excel, regardless of their academic background.

“Through this program, iMotorbike will equip young minds with the skills and opportunities they need to find fulfilling careers and contribute to Selangor’s thriving tech and innovation landscape.” he said.

iMotorbike,  in an effort to encourage a passion for cycling within the community and make motorcycle ownership more accessible, they are also currently providing exclusive discounts to Selangor residents.

From Mar 15 – Mar 31st Selangor residents will enjoy an instant RM100 discount for vehicles under 249cc and an instant RM200 discount for vehicles above 250cc.

Customers are required to bring a copy of identity card or utility bills as proof of selangor residency at time of purchase.
